In the ‘before times’ (pre-COVID) I was a pastry cook at Spago in Beverly Hills and had been for the past year. I've studied under known pastry chefs, and talented chocolatiers.
When I was very young my mother worked at the fine chocolate counter at our local department store. Turtles, honeycomb, and bonbons are my childhood memories.
I've since been educated on many of my friends' childhood reminders. That's my goal with Cher's Sugar Shack, to give you grown-ups a delightful reminder of your kid inside. I'm hoping my sweets put a smile on your face!
